Around 750,000 sqft of high-quality and sustainable employment space aimed at regional sized light and manufacturing businesses. We aim to achieve BREEAM (sustainable design criteria) Excellent rating.
The buildings will be screened by perimeter woodlanding planting and set back from key views where possible.
A new community hub including a café and planting/growing spaces at Finland Park Farm.
Enhanced main site access including a revised junction on Bredbury Park Way with Ashton Road, and the realignment of Bredbury Park Way and access into the site. A new internal road and public right of way access through the site is proposed.
New car parking space for Stockport Sports Village, to help reduce pressure on nearby residential roads.
On-site parking including EV charging bays, and covered cycle shelters for staff and visitors.
Detailed landscaping proposals including enhanced tree and hedgerow planting. A significant ecology zone will be provided adjacent to the site to provide recreation and leisure spaces for staff and local residents to enjoy. A biodiversity net gain will be achieved.
